Equity is not just about whether Computer Science classes are available, but also about how those classes are taught, how students are recruited, and how the classroom culture supports diverse learners and promotes retention. Participants will learn about effective practices for broadening participation in computing, including an emphasis on culturally responsive teaching practices in the classroom.
