What if your students had an unlimited library of texts to access right from their computer? In this session, we'll explore options for sharing digital copies of high-interest informational text and popular literature with your young learners. Epic Books is an amazing FREE classroom resource for books with read-to-me audio options and other supports in place for your early and non-readers. Assign read-aloud texts to students during centers, Daily 5, or workshop time.

We'll also explore other options for text, including YouTube for Read Alouds, and teacher or student created books in Google Slides. Finally, we'll discuss options for recording student reading for sharing and assessment.

Participants will:
Explore Epic Books as a source for age/Lexile appropriate text.
Create a book collection in Epic to share with students.
See Epic reading response activities captured in SeeSaw.
Create a YouTube Playlist of read-alouds.
Assign Google Slide High-Frequency/Sight-Word Readers in Google Classroom.
Record student reading with Screencastify or Seesaw.
